Blue Gerbera Garden Design and Horticulture was established in 2004 by John Brooks as a garden design and horticultural services business.   Since then, John has gone on to design a wide portfolio of gardens ranging from stylish contemporary roof terraces and intimate courtyard gardens to expansive family-oriented landscapes primarily throughout London and the county of Essex.

 

John’s contemporary design approach seeks to blend the use of a variety of materials with his love of planting to produce sophisticated garden spaces that deliver both in terms of functionality as well as aesthetics.  His work transforms his clients outdoor spaces into harmonious and inviting sanctuaries that can be enjoyed and developed for years to come.

 

Away from his own design work, John also owns and runs SketchUp for Garden Design, a further education teaching business which welcomes garden designers and landscape professionals from across the world, and is proud to include students from the RHS as well as several high profile garden designers and their staff amongst it's alumni.
